League of Extraordinary Gentleman

In a sense NFL athletes seem a bit abnormal; having abnormal traits that allow them to do extraordinary things. Many NFL players seem to have supernatural abilities that allow them to do things that we would have never dreamed of. Now I’m not saying if you turn on an NFL game you will see guys flying into the end zone, although it may seem that way sometimes, but these athletes’ posses’ special talents that take a ton of time and energy to craft. Imagine spending 8 to 10 hours a day working out and running constantly. And yet people say, “well they better, all the money they get.” Then of course you get the people who say “well they don’t deserve all that money.” Listen, does Peyton Manning walk to your job and tell you if you should get a raise or not? Does Tom Brady give you the time of day and make sure you do all of your work? Listen guys from fan to fan, I understand the excitement and passion, but relax on these ridiculous comments.

I would definitely put Brett Farve (Vikings) and Ron Howard (Phillies)and Tiger Woods (golf) in that league of extraordinary gentleman. These guys have a good work ethic and a very stable character. The money they get is worth it and well deserved. There are a whole host of athletes that fit into this extraordinary league. But then you have league of “men behaving badly”. Let’s not go there.
